Joseph Goksu builds AWS-native platforms and regulated cloud infrastructure. He joined Tazama, a Gates Foundation-funded transaction monitoring platform now hosted by the Linux Foundation, as one of the founding engineers, and currently builds the AWS-native platform at Obrizum (250,000+ users, defence clients). Through Reaktif he ships Osprey, TaskWing, and Markwise. AWS Community Builder (Security & Identity) since 2022. Based in Peterborough, UK.
Joseph Goksu joined Tazama, a real-time transaction monitoring platform built to detect fraud and money laundering in emerging markets, as one of the founding engineers. The project was funded by the Gates Foundation and is now hosted by the Linux Foundation. He later led the enterprise-ready cloud version at LexTego; production sat at 300 TPS. Tazama was designed for 3,000 TPS.
He now builds AWS-native platforms at Obrizum serving 250,000+ users including defence sector clients. His work spans infrastructure, developer tooling, and platform reliability at scale.
Outside his day job, Joseph runs Reaktif, shipping Osprey (opensource.finance), TaskWing (taskwing.app), and Markwise (markwise.app).
Joseph leads the Reactive Programming Group and has been an AWS Community Builder (Security & Identity) since 2022.
